Key objectives and activities of AUSTRIAPRO

We develop national and international standards for electronic business. The association AUSTRIAPRO was founded in 1989 as an initiative of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber AFEC and is located on Chamber premises in Vienna. About 60 Austrian enterprises, research institutions and public organizations are members.

Standards for data exchange and electronic business are a crucial supporting factor for international trade and the communication between businesses and the public sector. The development and dissemination of such standards is the key objective of AUSTRIAPRO.

The main activities of AUSTRIAPRO focus on e-invoicing, collaborative management of electronic identities ("AustriaLogin", “WKO SingleLogin”) and the blockchain technology (including NFT).
